As part of the build process it is crucial that all aspects of the work are carried out to the relevant Building Regulations. This is critical in order to ensure that the dwelling performs over the long term both structurally and in terms of its thermal requirements. Greater emphasis is being placed on conservation of energy and this has been echoed in recent changes to Part L of the Building Regulations.

At P.D.S. we oversee all aspects of the building work and attend site to inspect the ongoing construction of your dwelling. This is necessary for two main reasons - firstly in order to ensure all aspects of the Building Regulations have been complied with. The dwelling must be inspected at set stages and these are outlined in our client information letter. Secondly it is a requirement of any money lending institution that an Indemnified Professional Body oversee the work in order to ensure standards are met.
