Architectural design is often overlooked and is not simply a case of choosing a house type from a book or magazine. It is crucial to design a house type/layout to best suit the clients needs taking into account all relevant factors such as type of site (slope, orientation etc.) client requirements, sun light, access and future needs. Seeking the right advice at this stage is crucial, as when planning is granted, alterations are unadvised and often cause unwanted expense.
